Volunteers bring beauty to life…If you have a valid drivers license, and are available the third Thursday of each month for a few hours, we are looking for drivers to deliver Good Food boxes. You would be helping families, and/or neighbors to benefit from this generous act of kindness. Gas allowance is provided. Your help is needed.

volunteering comes from the heart…The Salvation Army is looking for dedicated volunteers to help in their food bank. Applicants must make a commitment of a least one day per week and be physically fit as the position involves lifting and carrying. Training in Safe Food Handling is required and will be provided. Help us to help others! Call today.

Put a smile on someone’s face…. If you are looking to help others, we are looking for patient, kind, and pleasant volunteers to visit with Alzheimer clients.  The visitor could play a board game or card game, possibly do a simple exercise program or maybe just chat with the client.  Current Police & Personal Records checks will be required.  If you can help lower the long waiting list, please give us a call.

Everyone can help someone…as a volunteer.   If you are a mature and caring adult, VON is looking for volunteers to assist with the Adult Day Program that runs Monday through Saturday 8 am –5 pm. The program seeks to provide socialization and recreation to isolated seniors. Volunteers must be 18 year of age or older and have a current Criminal Record Check. A minimum commitment of 3 to 6 hours a week for 6 months is necessary.
