Duties: A Francophone woman or man who has a background in Board Service, to sit on the Women In Crisis Board of Directors, 1 term is 3 years

Skills Expected: The ideal candidate will be open to new ideas and debate, creative, non-judge-mental, hard working, flexible and accepting of diversity in people and relationships. They will be team players and willing to accept tasks and leadership roles; Women In Crisis works from the principle that every human being has the right to live free of violence and fear; that no one has the right to abuse another human being and that no one deserves to be abused. Women In Crisis believes that abuse against women in gender based.

Training: The Board offers a peer mentoring program in addition to orientation.
