Program: Student Nutrition Program

Duties: Preparing simple meals: toast, bagels, pouring cereal, beverages, cutting fruits/veggies. Occasionally preparing eggs or muffins. Serving students in the Student Nutrition Program, collecting dishes, cleaning up preparation spaces.

Skills Expected: Safe food handling is an asset. Personable and friendly. Comfortable in a kitchen.

Orientation: Meet with principal and/or site coordinator to familiarize with school.

Training: Peer to peer training with another volunteer.

Benefits: Make a difference in the health and development of students.
